The Shafer Farm LLC (formerly Shafer Orchards) is nestled in the rolling hills of Southwestern Michigan. The 72 acre farm has been owned by the Shafer family for three generations. The Shafer’s have retired and are now leasing the farm to Doug and Suzy Forraht and family. Though dwarfed by larger neighboring farms, consistent attention to quality brings families back, sometimes from hundreds of miles, year after year to pick their own tree ripened peaches, apples and vine-ripened grapes. Open August through October. We are looking forward to seeing you at the U-pick this season!
